Islands Folk Festival’s second instalment of the “Messy Desk Concert Series” is going to knock it out of the park! Pierre Schryer and Adam Dobres are celebrating the release of their new album Mandorla which features traditional and contemporary tunes in various musical styles. Two of the finest musicians around, playing a tiny room—it doesn't get better than this!
Join us for this special series right in the Cowichan Folk Guild Office (third floor at Providence Farm) where we record and stream the performance inspired by NPR's Tiny Desk series, on Wednesday Oct. 16. You'll be able to interact with the artists and hear the stories behind their music, all in a small intimate space. Doors: 7 show: 7:30.
